Shine On

市街地の狭小間口に建つ三階建て住居。
方位が通常の敷地とは90°振れており、南側には至近距離に隣地建屋が建っていて採光が取れない状態であった。
そこで、建築基準法の採光計算による補正係数を満たすように斜めにボリュームをカット、南側外壁面を斜めにして光を導けるようにした。建築基準法上の採光をどの部屋でも受けられる様になっている。

In order to catch sunlight  form the south, the three stories house volume was decided by the site situation. The house stands in a place where the house crowd narrow site. In addition, south front is neighbor side.  Under the circumstance, the house volume  was  cut diagonally and get sunlight. The reason of the cutting volume is legal rule and thus every first floor get sunlight potentially.
